Sierra Meadows, 19th Hole: Sunflower Orchard to Fairway… this client approached us with a unique challenge. They’d been sold a wildflower meadow, but mismanagement lead to a dominate sunflower species taking over the entire 10,000 sqft area. We were able to work hand-in-hand with the owners to create an awe inspiring lawn. Complete with faux rivers, a settling pool, and its own dog-leg left. So well done, even the neighbors at Shaffers Mill Golf Course occasionally lay up there when they get lost.
TOO MUCH TURF!
Old Greenwood, Contractor Closeout Revival: Custom homes in Truckee embody the beauty that is Mountain Modern Architecture. However, sometimes, strict deadlines and tight HOA guidelines pigeon hole builders. This client was frustrated by a small 10x25’ turf patch put down as an after thought to a home that was built approx. 100’ away from a fairway. Plus, the tiny boxed in patio built by the original GC left a lot to be desired in terms of entertainment space. This client wanted to more room to dine with guests and a hot-tub pad. We worked carefully with the HOA to preserve standards, were able to match their existing pavers, and push the patio boundaries to get the client the outdoor living space of their dreams.
